North Jersey Artistic Swimming

Artistic (synchronized) swimming is a unique combination of dance, gymnastics and swimming. Athletes perform acrobatic routines in the water, perfectly timed with music and their teammates – all while never touching the bottom of the pool! 

Jersey Manta Rays is the competitive artistic swimming team practicing at the Madison YMCA. Artistic swimming combines music, dance and swimming into “the ultimate team sport.” Through the artistry and athletics of artistic swimming and team competition, athletes build lifelong friendships and skills while developing the confidence to dream big and pursue their goals. The team embraces the Y core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility to provide a positive and character-building youth sports experience. The team is open to athletes ages 6 to 19, while offering multiple levels of instruction and competition.
